Tenants Charter – A Guideline For Tenants In Shared Accommodation managed by Bright Scene Ltd.
- Please be mindful of the environment & the energy used by this house;
- Please turn down heating via thermostat / individual radiators instead of opening windows to cool down rooms
- Immersion heaters are for emergency use only – please do not leave them switched on permanently
- Please do not leave lights on unnecessarily
- Please ensure TV’s / computers etc. are switched off when not in use
- Please do not use water excessively
- Please switch off shower heaters to be switched (where fitted)
- Please be considerate and respectful at all times to others in the property and their belongings. Verbal or physical assault on fellow housemates will not be tolerated and will affect tenancy agreements
- Smoking is not permitted inside the house at any time
- Please do not play loud music after 10.30 pm (weekdays), 11.30 pm (weekends) –please be aware of the impact of noise on any neighbours
- Please ensure you have registered with the Council & electoral role
- Communal areas (including bathrooms and gardens) are everyone’s responsibility, please keep them clean and tidy at all times
- Rubbish to be sorted, placed in the appropriate bins and left for collection on the appropriate day
- Please report any damage to the property to Bright Scene as soon as possible either by phone or via www.brightscene.co.uk. Any malicious damage to the property will be dealt with accordingly.
- Tenants are required to pay their monthly rent in advance in full by Standing Order on the date due
- There will be a full inspection when a tenant moves out. It is expected that the departing tenant will leave their room, and common areas, as clean as when they first arrived. If not, we will hire professional cleaners and deduct this amount from deposits held. (Professional cleaners cost about £25/hr.)
- Please retain any post addressed to Bright Scene Limited for collection
